EP's Foreign Affairs Committee adopts resolution on Serbia
The Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament on Thursday adopted a resolution on the 2015 report on Serbia.
The resolution was adopted with 50 votes in favor, 2 votes against and 4 abstentions, with the EP expected to debate the document and vote on it at the February 3-4 plenary session.

Greece mulls denying use of airspace to Russia planes carrying supplies to Syria
The United States has asked Greece to ban Russian supply flights to Syria from its airspace, a Greek official said on Sept.7, amid growing US fears that Moscow is increasing its military backing for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Russia backs Serbia "whenever it takes clear stand"
Russia has always supported Serbia when it clearly expressed its position, and has always defended its security and sovereignty, says Alexei Pushkov.
"Whenever Serbia expressed a clear position, Russia has supported it," the chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation's State Duma, who was visiting Belgrade this week, told the daily Politika in an interview.
Duma's Pushkov received by top Serbian officials
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met on Monday with Aleksei Pushkov, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
According to a government statement issued after the meeting in Belgrade, they discussed "improvement of economic and political cooperation between the two countries."

EU minister warns European Parliament on amendments

BELGRADE - Portugal supports Serbia's EU integration, Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Portuguese parliament Paulo Mota Pinto said Tuesday.

EP: Edi Rama's statement inappropriate
BRUSSELS - The European Parliament's (EP) Foreign Affairs Committee has described Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's recent statement about unification of Kosovo and Albania as inappropriate, during a debate at the EP on the reports assessing the progress made by Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania, Al Jazeera has published on its website.

German MEP critical of Greek-Russian deals
The European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Elmar Brok said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware that “he cannot help Greece financially.”
The MEP said that Russia “cannot restore the Greek standard of living and Greeks would not like the Russians’ standard of living,” speaking with state TV ARD and Bild newspaper.
