Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and German Chancellor Angela Merkel seem to get along well together as they have been photographed more than once while smiling and laughing each other during the Summit which is held at Malta on refugee and migration issue.

6 killed, 7 injured in Turkey from clashes between Turkish army and Kurdish rebels
According to the French News Agency, six people, including a 7-year old child and 3 civilians were killed in the ongoing clashes between the Turkish special forces and the Kurdish PKK rebels in two separate incidents in Turkey, Thursday.
Joseph Stiglitz: Germany undermining Europe
Speaking to the French News Agency, Sunday, American Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz blasted Germany for undermining the European vision by showing a lack of solidarity towards Greece. “You cannot run a Eurozone without a basic modicum of solidarity”, said the Columbia University Professor. He continued by pointing out that asking even more from Greece is ‘unconscionable’.

The Troika withdraws its proposal – Referendum up in the air
The referendum in Greece means that the 245 billion euro aid package to the country will suddenly end on Tuesday, according to the French News Agency.
According to the agency, which quotes EU officials, the Eurozone finance ministers will discuss alternatives for more help on Saturday’s Eurogroup, including capital controls.
