The Tiger Lillies | Athens | January 25

Popular avant-garde cabaret act the Tiger Lillies, whose weird and wonderful shows have earned the London-based outfit a loyal world following, will be performing at Athens' Fuzz Club on January 25 as part of its 30th anniversary tour. According to the organizers, the show will also include new songs inspired by Greek rebetiko music. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Deerhunter | Athens | November 21

American rock act Deerhunter is set to make its Greek debut on Thursday, November 21. The Atlanta, Georgia-based outfit, which describe their music as "ambient punk," have released eight albums to date, including their latest, "Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared?" which came out earlier this year. Tickets for the concert at the Fuzz Club cost 25 euros and are available at viva.gr.

Dream Syndicate | Athens | October 26

Popular American indie act the Dream Syndicate returns to Athens for a gig at the Fuzz Club on Saturday, October 26. The band - consisting of Steve Wynn, Dennis Duck, Mark Walton and Jason Victor - will perform tracks from its latest album, "These Times," as well as from its critically acclaimed previous effort, "How Did I Find Myself Here?" Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets cost 25 euros.

Courtney Barnett | Athens | May 16

Known for her witty lyrics and deadpan delivery, Australian indie-rocker Courtney Barnett is playing at the Greek capital's Fuzz Club on Thursday, May 16. The show, which starts at 8 p.m., is part of her ongoing tour promoting her latest album, "Tell Me How You Really Feel." Tickets start from 23 euros and can be booked at www.viva.gr.

Waldeck | Athens | March 15

Austrian lawyer-turned-musician Waldeck will take the stage at Athens's Fuzz Club on Friday, March 15, with an upbeat program of cerebral music that blends downtempo electronica, swing from the 1920s and 30s, funk, dub, tango and trip-hop.

Last Drive | Athens | May 19

Last Drive has achieved cult status since it first appeared 35 years ago, and remains a yardstick for Greek rock music. The band members have reunited after a long hiatus to produce a new self-titled album and will be performing a career-spanning set at Fuzz on Saturday, May 19. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the Karamazov Project is the supporting act.

Ufomammut | Athens | April 3

Well-traveled Italian doom/psych-rock metal band Ufomammut are heading to Athens on Tuesday, April 3, for a concert at the Fuzz Club which promises to pack an epic, riff-heavy, in-your-face punch. Their visit comes on the back of their latest album release, "8," which came out in September last year. Advance bookings cost 20 euros and tickets at the door on the night cost 24 euros.
