Turkish Airlines launches new flights to Sydney, Santiago
Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will soon operate two new international routes, connecting Istanbul to Sydney, Australia, and Santiago, Chile.

Businessman lands helicopter on public beach, drawing public anger
A Turkish businessman has drawn public backlash on social media after he landed with his helicopter on a public beach in the Marmaris district of the southwestern province of Muğla.
"All the security measures were taken and we landed on the beach to have breakfast," Temel Akçay has told daily Hürriyet, defending himself that they did nothing wrong.

Turkey's Pegasus resumes Russia flights after visa problems resolved
Low-cost carrier Pegasus has announced that it has restarted flights to Russia after a visa problem for its flight crews was resolved.
The company halted flights on Jan. 4 until Jan. 13 after it failed to get a positive response from Russia to visa applications for its crew members.
Istanbul Atatürk adds most long-haul routes in Europe
Istanbul?s Atatürk Airport was declared the airport with the most new long-haul routes at the Euro Annies 2015 Awards, the airport?s operator, TAV Airports, said in a written statement on Sept. 15.
Gazipa?a-Alanya Airport in Antalya was also selected the fastest growing airport in its category.
