Spokesman for Bulgaria’s Caretaker Cabinet: Prosecutor’s Office Staff Break into Interior Ministry
"During the tenure of the caretaker government, when the legislature is not working, we see attempts by the prosecutor's office to openly interfere in the work of the executive branch," caretaker cabinet spokesman Anton Kutev said at a briefing at the Council of Ministers "in connection with the activity of the prosecutor's office in recent days."
Senior Officer of National Police Service Faces Criminal Charges
Criminal charges are pressed against head of the department in the National Police Service, Nova TV reported.
The head of the cultural and historical values sector at the General Directorate National Police (GDNP) Angel Papalezov has been charged after last night's raid on his office and home. The charges are for participating in an organized crime group.

Director of Bulgaria's Traffic Police Resigns
The director of Bulgaria's Traffic Police (KAT) Anton Antonov submitted a notice for leave, but his resignation has not been accepted yet.
Antonov resigned due to personal reasons, but will remain within the system of the Interior Ministry, daily Dnevnik reports.
