Germany to train some of its F-35 pilots in Greece
According to Kathimerini, discussions are ongoing between Athens and Berlin regarding the training of future German F-35 pilots at the 120 Air Training Wing in Kalamata.
The German air force plans to initially send ten pilots, who are expected to complete the full two-year training program of the 120 Wing, sources told Kathimerini.

Germany sends Fighter Jets to Romania after Russian Danube Attacks
Germany will deploy four Eurofighter fighter jets to Romania to support NATO's air surveillance mission from the end of November, Reuters reported, citing increased Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports on the Danube River.
The drone strikes and debris found in Romania have increased security risks for the military alliance, whose members have a mutual defense commitment.

Three Russian military aircraft flying without transponder signals have been intercepted in international airspace over the Baltic Sea, Germany's Luftwaffe said on Wednesday. Germany refuses Turkish demand for access to imagery from campaign against ISIL
Germany has ruled out giving Turkey unfiltered access to imagery gathered by its Tornado fighter jets operating out of the İncirlik Air Base in southern Turkey as part of a broader fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the German Defense Ministry said, according to a report on German website Bild.de on Jan. 31.
Germany won't donate any helicopters to Serbia - report
Germany will not donate four Airbus H145M helicopters, as recently reported "by some media in Serbia," Germany's state broadcaster Deutsche Welle has said.
The broadcaster said it learned unofficially from the German Air Force, the only formation in that country that has these helicopters in service, that they "know nothing about a donation."
No obstacle to extension of German troops at İncirlik base, says German lawmaker
A German lawmaker, who was among the group of parliamentarians visiting German troops at the Turkish air base İncirlik after a ban was recently lifted, has said the visit paved the way for the German Parliament to vote to extend the deployment of nearly 240 German troops stationed at the base.
