Merkel: I Stand in Solidarity with Ukraine and Support its Right to Self-Defense
In her first public speech in about half a year, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel described Russia's attack on Ukraine as a "deep turning point".
She said she did not want to make assessments as a former chancellor, but Russia's invasion of its neighboring country was a gross violation of international law in European history since the end of World War II.

Greek premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis has complained about Turkey to Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz two weeks after the U.S. President Joe Biden, but in the same method, by showing Turkey's "Blue Homeland" map.
Putin threatened Macron and Scholz
They called on him for serious direct negotiations with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as for a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
Putin told the two leaders that the delivery of weapons to Ukraine was dangerous, warning of "the risks of further destabilization of the situation and worsening of the humanitarian crisis," the Kremlin said.

Israel will Not Give Missiles to Ukraine despite US Pressure
Israel has rejected a US request to allow Berlin to supply Ukraine with anti-tank missiles developed in Israel, US and Israeli officials told Axios.
The missiles, which are made in Germany and would be transferred to Kyiv by the German government, were manufactured using Israeli technology. According to the license, Israel must approve any transfer of missiles to a third country.
Dynagas: Energy solutions for Germany from Giorgos Prokopiou’s Dynagas
Two Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) were chartered from George Prokopiou's Dynagas Ltd to the German Uniper, whose total capacity is equivalent to 30% of Russian gas imports to Germany.
With this move, Uniper comes to diversify and strengthen the security of gas supply in Germany, according to a statement from the German company.
