Syrian Kurdish YPG to withdraw from Manbij
The Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) will withdraw from northern Syrian town of Manbij towards the east of the Euphrates River, as Turkey has long demanded, the United States and the YPG both vowed on Nov. 16.

US diplomat pays tribute to 'those stood against the coup attempt' in Turkey
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sept. 27 visited the Turkish parliament, which was bombed during the failed military coup of July 15.
Blinken was accompanied by U.S. Ambassador to Turkey John Bass and Cemalettin Tuney, the head of the foreign affairs commission at Turkey's parliament.
ISIL truck bomb kills at least 60 people in Iraqi capital
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for a suicide attack with an explosive-laden fuel tanker on an Iraqi police checkpoint south of Baghdad, killing at least 60 people, as Iraqi forces make preparations to launch an operation against ISIL to take Mosul back.
Anti-ISIL envoy holds meetings in Baghdad
U.S. President Barack Obama's Special Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Brett McGurk was in Baghdad on March 3 to hold talks.
The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad said in a statement that McGurk arrived in Baghdad to meet with senior Iraqi government and security officials, along with representatives from the U.S.-led coalition.

20 ISIL suspects detained in Antalya ahead of G-20 summit
Turkish police have detained 20 suspects in an operation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Turkey's southern Antalya province, a week before the start of a G-20 summit in the same province.
Counterterrorism police launched simultaneous operations in central Antalya, as well as the city's Alanya and Manavgat districts, early on Nov 6.
