Greece has "strongly condemned" an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel Tuesday and called for an immediate de-escalation in the Middle East.
Black Hawk helicopter purchase gets green light
The House Arms Committee approved the procurement of 35 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters on Tuesday, which means that the Government Council for National Security (KYSEA) can authorize the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) to sign the US letter of acceptance (LOA) in order to start the implementation of the program.

New chiefs appointed to police and fire service
The Government Council for National Security (KYSEA) on Tuesday decided to appoint new police and fire chiefs, in a bid to address mounting public concerns about law and order.
Following the council's decisions, Dimitris Mallios, until now head of the Alien and Border Protection Branch, will replace Lazaros Mavropoulos as chief of the Hellenic Police (ELAS).

Changes expected in police force’s leadership
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is convening a meeting of the Government Council for National Security (KYSEA) on Tuesday that is expected to bring major changes to the Greek police force's leadership.
The meeting was convened in the wake of the gangland-style assassination of a crime boss in the central Athens district of Neos Kosmos on Sunday.
