Kindergartens, elementary schools to reopen on Jan 11
Greece's Education Ministry has confirmed that kindergartens, elementary and special education schools will reopen on January 11.
Meanwhile, middle and high schools will resume online classes on Friday, January 8.
Lockdown of schools and universities extended to May 10
Greece's Education Ministry said Friday that it will extend the period during which schools and universities will have to remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The closure is now extended until May 10.
The decision was made on the recommendation of the expert committee advising the government on its response to Covid-19.
