Turkish air force violates Greek air space
Two Turkish F-16 fighter jets violated Greek national air space, Monday. The armed jets entered into the north-eastern Aegean area and were immediately intercepted by the Greek air force as per international rules of engagement, according to Greek Pentagon sources. The two jets also infringed the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR).

Turkish fighter jets commit 6 more violations of Greek air space
Turkey is continuing to escalate its provocations against Greece, as five fighter jets of the Turkish Air force violated Greek air space 6 times and committed air traffic infringements, Friday. The violations and infringements took place over the south and north-east Aegean Sea, with two of the jets carrying armed weapons.
Turkey continues violating Greek airspace
For four consecutive days Turkey’s fighters violate Greek airspace flying over the Aegean Sea.
On Thursday, Turkish fighters flew over the Greek island of Oinousses for one hour, from 11:30 to 12:30.
Meanwhile, Greek air force were performing an air military exercise in the area between Chios and Oinousses under orders from Minister of Defence Panos Kammenos.

Hellenikon Airport officially a migrant refugee center
Alternate Migration Policy Minister Yiannis Mouzalas met with mayors of districts in southeast Athens to discuss the refugee and migrant center at the old Greek Air Force facilities and Hellenikon Airport.
Bodies of Greeks who died in Norman Atlantic disaster to be flown to Greece
A Greek air force plane was expected to carry the bodies of three Greek nationals who died in the Norman Atlantic ferry disaster in December back to Greece.
The aircraft was set to leave Italy? Bari airport and reach Athens International Airport.
The cost of the transport operation was expected to be covered in its entirety by the Greek Defense Ministry.
