SYRIZA trailing New Democracy by 8 percent, new poll finds
New Democracy was given an 8-point lead over ruling SYRIZA in a new public opinion poll conducted by Pulse for Skai TV and published on Thursday, with 35 percent of respondents saying they intend to vote for the center-right opposition against 27 percent supporting the incumbent leftists.
ESM issues stern warning to Greek government
The European Stability Mechanism (ESM), Greece's chief creditor, in a regular report on the Greek economy has warned Athens to fully implement all reforms agreed to in the bailout memorandums, including a 3.5 percent of GDP primary surplus until 2022.
The report coincides with the Bank of Greece's announcement that it projects a 2.9 percent primary surplus for 2019.

Vote estimate in new poll gives ND 10.2 percentage point lead over SYRIZA
New Democracy has gained ground over SYRIZA since its landslide victory in the 26 May European Parliament poll and now has a double-digit lead over the ruling party, according to the vote estimate in a poll that was released today by Metron Analysis and was ordered by Alpha television.

Resistance home targeted by far-right vandals
The Greek Communist Party (KKE) said on Monday that "fascists" had vandalized the entrance to the premises of a foundation in the Athens suburb of Aghios Dimitrios which offers shelter and care to veterans of the National Liberation Front (EAM) - the movement of the Greek Resistance during the Axis occupation of Greece in World War II.
