Greek High Court blocks extradition of Vinnik
The Greek Council of State has temporarily blocked the extradition of Bitcoin wizard and Russian national Alexander Vinnik.
France, Russia, and the United States were vying to have Vinnik handed over to them.
Vinnik wants to be handed over to Russia and the Russian Embassy in Athens made extensive efforts to achieve its goal.

Greek top court confirms asylum right for Turkish coup suspects
The Greek Council of State has rejected the government's objection againsts its earlier ruling that granted right of asylum to Turkish soldiers, who were accused by Turkey of participating in the 2016 coup attempt.

The Greek Council of State (CoS) issued a ruling on Thursday practically overturning a decision by outgoing minister Panos Skourletis to temporarily shut down the gold mines in Skouries, Chalkidiki prefecture, northern Greece. The Council of State said that the reasoning behind Skourletis’ decision to suspend the works at the mine was unsubstantiated.
European Court rules that Greek dads have rights to paid parental leave too
Greek law provides that a male civil servant is not entitled to paid parental leave if his wife does not work or exercise any profession, unless it is considered that, due to a serious illness or injury, the wife is unable to meet the needs related to the upbringing of the child.
