The coronavirus pandemic may decline in October this year, but there is no timeframe for the end of the COVID-19 spread so far. This is the opinion of the expert at the Shanghai Huashan Hospital Zhang Menghuang, quoted by the Chinese newspaper Shanghai Daily, TASS reported.

Two-thirds of the world's population may be at risk of contracting the new coronavirus (named by WHO COVID-19 - Bel BC) if it cannot be stopped, said Hong Kong epidemiologist Professor Gabriel Leung.

Experts also cannot predict when the epidemic will reach its peak.
One of China's leading government-appointed experts, Zhong Nanshan, predicts that the outbreak of the disease, labelled as "demon" by Chinese President Xi, may peak in early February.
