A women's rights advocate from Saudi Arabia and an LGBTI rights group in Turkey have been given this year's International Hrant Dink Award - dedicated to the Armenian journalist murdered in 2007 - at a ceremony in Istanbul, the state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

?Respiro,? an installation by influential conceptual artist Sarkis, will be on view in the Pavilion of Turkey at the 56th International Art Exhibition in Venice from May 7 to November 22. 

The same year Turkish-Armenian journalist and editor-in-chief Hrant Dink was assassinated, a foundation was established in his name to carry out his dreams of peace and dialogue.

Gaye Co?ar, a Turkish journalist, has lost her life following a road accident in the Armenian capital Yerevan.

Co?ar, who was in the country as part of the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process program, funded by the European Union, succumbed to her wounds on Jan. 7 in Yerevan, after the accident took place last week.

The Hrant Dink Foundation has established a fellowship scheme with a view to promote cross-border affiliation and cooperation among professionals from the two neighboring countries within the framework of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process program financed by the European Union.
