Turkey’s armed drones put to test in Hungary: Report

Turkey's armed drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), have been tested by the Hungarian army, local newspaper Magyar Nemzet reported on Nov. 12.

The news report said the KARAYEL-SU armed drone developed by Vestel Defense was photographed both on land and in the air at the Hungarian Armed Forces' Papa Air Base.

Hungary Completes Fence at Border with Serbia Earlier Than Planned

In an attempt to limit the influx of refugees trying to cross into the country, Hungary completed the construction of the 175-kilometre-long fence at its border with Serbia.

The fence, which consists of three rolls of razor wire, was completed two days before the initially announced deadline of August 31, Deutsche Welle reports.

Hungary Starts Building Fence On Serbian Border

The Hungarian Army on Monday started to prepare the terrain near Morahalom, a small southern border town of about 6,000 people, for the erection of a four-metre-high fence designed to stop illegal migrants.

The authorities are only erecting an "experimental" fence, here however, no more than 150 metres long.
