ST. PETERSBURG - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic is in St. Petersburg for a plenary meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which she is attending in her capacity as president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

STRASBOURG - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic and Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, signed in Strasbourg on Thursday an agreement on cooperation between the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) and the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).

556 local and 179 foreign observers monitor elections
