Fines issued for counterfeit products on Rhodes
Market inspectors on Rhodes have issued fines worth 226,000 euros to two people for trading in counterfeit products.
As a result of the inspections, which took place last week, over 29,000 fake products were identified and subsequently destroyed.
A photo issued by the Interagency Market Control Unit (DIMEA) suggests that the fake products included games and toys.

Eleven companies face fines totaling €1,480,000
Fines totaling 1,480,000 euros were imposed by the Ministry of Development on 11 companies following audits carried out by the Interagency Market Control Unit (DIMEA) and the Consumer Protection Directorate.
According to an announcement, they concern violations of the provisions on fictitious discounts and offers, as well as improper compliance with consumer legislation.

‘Christmas Basket’ to keep prices down
