After enduring a year of institutional uncertainty, Nexo, a prominent global digital asset institution, is seeking justice through a legal claim exceeding USD 3 billion against the Republic of Bulgaria.

Cryptocurrency-based financial services company Nexo has filed a case against Bulgaria in an international arbitration court in the USA, according to investigative website "Bird.bg" This move comes after the Bulgarian prosecutor's office dropped its investigation into Nexo, citing insufficient evidence of a crime.

The arbitration case brought by EVN against Bulgaria at the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) at the World Bank in Washington is over, writes Capital.

The decision has not yet been published, but the Austrian firm has announced that it will not be paid the damages sought, which, according to unofficial information, was about 500 million euros.
