Seselj buys house in village cited in his war crimes verdict

Seselj bought the property "from A.P., who until 1991 lived with her family in Vukovar (Croatia)," Croatian daily Vecernji List writes on Thursday.

The woman said that the house was built by her parents after the family left Croatia, and that it had been on the market since 2001, when her father died - but attracted no interest.

ICTY rejected Mladic's request to extend the appeal deadline

The Appeals Chamber of the Judicial Mechanism in The Hague (ICTY) rejected the request of Mladic's defense to extend the deadline for the appeal against the first-instance verdict for another 90 days, as it believes it is not supported by new arguments which were adopted in December, reports Serbian daily "Vecernje Novosti".

Appeal Hearing For Radovan Karadzic To Be In April

Appeals against Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic's 40-year prison sentence will be heard before judges at a UN tribunal at The Hague in April.

The president of the UN war crimes tribunal, Theodor Meron, said on February 27 that the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals will hear "the appeals in the case" on April 23 and 24.

Soldier Praising Mladic Faces Discipline After BIRN Report

The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched disciplinary proceedings against a soldier named Djordje Tojcic, whose Instagram profile praised the former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, found Mladic guilty of genocide in Srebrenica and other wartime crimes in November.
