Google and eight top European news publishers announced the Digital News Initiative, a collaboration which aims to support high quality journalism and encourage a more sustainable news ecosystem through technology and innovation.

Hürriyet Dünyas? (Hürriyet World), which reaches 70 percent of Internet users in Turkey with newspaper websites and supplements through mobile phones, tablets and social media applications, has collected six International News Media Association (INMA) awards.
