Romania to host International Telecommunication Union Plenipotentiary Conference 2022
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) hasy signed an agreement with the Government of Romania for the hosting of the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22) in Bucharest, Romania's National Communications Administration and Regulation Authority (ANCOM) reported in a press statement released on Thursday.
Connectivity identified as key to digital transformation
Ljubljana – Public Administration Minister Boštjan Koritnik emphasised the role of connectivity in a successful digital transformation, as he addressed the Regional Forum for Europe on Meaningful Connectivity, organised by International Telecommunication Union with the support of his ministry.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) "will not recognize Kosovo's independence," the Pristina-based daily Koha Ditore writes on Tuesday.
According to the Albanian language newspaper, this will remain true even after Kosovo has been granted its dialing code.
