Security chief, roommate speak at suicide trial
The trial into the 2015 suicide of student Vangelis Giakoumakis in the northwestern city of Ioannina continued Tuesday with testimony from the 20-year-old's roommate and the head of the security company guarding Ioannina Dairy School, who said that neither she nor her staff were aware he was beaten and bullied by fellow students.

Trial into 2015 suicide of student Vangelis Giakoumakis starts
The trial into the 2015 suicide of Ioannina Dairy School student Vangelis Giakoumakis began in the northwestern Greek city on Friday with testimony from the 20-year-old's parents, as well as Nikos Davris, who was studying at the school at the same time as Giakoumakis and said he knew he was being brutally and repeatedly bullied by a group of fellow students.

Missing student Vangelis Giakoumakis, found dead (photos + video)
The announcement concerning the cause of death of 20-year-old Vangelis Giakoumakis, the missing Ioannina Dairy School student from Crete, will be made on Monday. Coroner Theodoros Vougiouklakis said that findings are to be confirmed in lab tests at around noon.
