New artifacts found in Black Sea region excavations
Gifts dating back 1,800 years that have been given to the dead throughout history have been unearthed in a grave in the ancient city of Hadrianaupolis in the Ezkipazar district of the northern province of Karabük.

Works have been resumed, after two years, in the ancient city of Hadrianapolis in the northern province of Karabük's Eskipazar district.
The ancient city is believed to have been established in the first century B.C. and was used as a settlement until the eighth century.

Ancient tombs, church found in Tieion in northern Turkey
This year's excavation works have ended in the ancient city of Tieion, known as the Ephesus of the Black Sea, after unearthing 25 Byzantine-era tombs and one church.
Located in the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak province, Tieion dates back to the 6th or 7th century and excavations at the site started 10 years ago.
