Serbia against reduction in number of EULEX, KFOR members
NOVI SAD - Serbia is opposing a reduction in the number of EULEX members and KFOR troops, Outgoing Minister without Portfolio in charge of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Aleksandar Vulin has said.
Kfor commander: Security in Kosovo improved significantly
PRISTINA - Security has improved significantly across Kosovo since the signing of the Belgrade-Pristina agreement on April 19 last year, Kfor Commander General Salvatore Farina has said.
Farina made the statement on Wednesday during a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces Jeronim Bazo, the Ansa agency reports.

Rakic requests that Ivanovic be released
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Newly elected Mayor of Kosovska Mitrovica Goran Rakic requested on Tuesday from international representatives in Kosovo that all persons from Kosovska Mitrovica kept in custody without reason be released pending their trials.

Polling stations in northern Mitrovica close
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A total of 33 polling places in seven polling centres closed in northern Kosovska Mitrovica at 7 p.m. where citizens cast their ballots for the mayor of the city in north Kosovo-Metohija.
Citizens who were at the polling stations by the closing have the chance to cast their ballots and the polling centres officially closed at 7 p.m.
