Archaeological excavations will be carried out to unearth one of the most important temples of the Hittites in Kayalıpınar, a 3,800-year-old ancient city in the Central Anatolian province of Sivas.

Muharrem Ince, a senior name in Turkey's main opposition social democratic Republican People's Party, CHP, did well as his party's presidential candidate in 2018 against Turkish strongman Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A survey by Koç University in Istanbul made public on May 6 revealed that the public trust for fair elections in Turkey has declined, as the country heads toward one of the most critical elections in decades on June 7.
