Economy most important problem for Turks: Poll
Economic issues rank as the most important problem for half of Turks, according to a survey made public on April 16.
A total of 33.1 percent of those polled said unemployment ranks as Turkey's most important problem. "This is the highest percentage I have seen for long time," said Ali Çarko?lu, who has been conducting similar surveys for the past two decades.

Turkey's economic success story has been deteriorating for a while and the country needs to change this atmosphere by means of comprehensive reforms in various fields, said the head of the country's top business organization at a conference over the inflation trends in the Turkish economy.
Turkish universities well-placed in Emerging Economies Rankings
Eight Turkish universities were listed this year among the 100 top universities in the "BRICS & Emerging Economies Rankings," with the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in Ankara taking third place in the list.
ODTÜ was also named the world's 85th best university in the 2015 rankings.
