KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Local self-government representatives from northern Kosovo, which is home to Serb majority population, stated during a joint meeting in Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday that EULEX is indirectly hindering the implementation of the Brussels agreement.

Cazimi, Kabasi under house arrest
PRISTINA - The imam of the El-Kuddus Mosque in Gnjilane, Zekerija Cazimi, 34, has been placed under house arrest by the Basic Court in Pristina on suspicion of being one of the chief instigators of the jihad in Kosovo.
The court also placed another suspect, 27-year-old Liridon Kabasi from the village of Polac in the Srbica municipality, northern Kosovo, under house arrest.

Police clear unexploded grenade in north Kosovska Mitrovica
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Kosovo police used a controlled explosion to neutralise an unexploded hand grenade in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Saturday, in an area mostly populated by Serbs.
The hand grenade was discovered early on Saturday outside the entrance to a jewelry shop in the Ivo Lola Ribar street, according to Tanjug's reporter at the scene.

PRISTINA - The list of individuals against whom the Kosovo police are conducting an investigation includes head of the Kosovo Islamic Community Naim Trnava, TV broadcaster Kohavision from Kosovo reported as quoted by Pristina-based media.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - One passenger vehicle was burned down and another was damaged in Kosovska Mitrovica late Thursday in what was most likely an arson attack, the Kosovo police told Tanjug.
Regional police chief Zeljko Bojic told Tanjug that a Fiat Stilo, owned by a Kosovo Serb who works at the local prison, was torched at about 11 pm.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- One passenger vehicle was burned down and another was damaged in Kosovska Mitrovica late on Thursday.
The incident was "most likely an arson attack," the Kosovo police told Tanjug.
