A new museum honoring legendary soprano Maria Callas will open in Athens next year to honor the centenary of her birth, the city said on Oct. 26.

In this monumental production directed by Sonja Frisell, soprano Anna Netrebko sings her first Met Aida, with mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili as Amneris and Aleksandrs Antonenko as the warrior Radames.
