8 Samples in Pleven and Gabrovo will be Re-Examined because of Doubtful Results

Dozens of People who were in Contact with the Coronavirus-Infected People in Bulgaria are being Tested

There was no change in the number of the people infected with coronavirus. This was said at a regular briefing in front of the MMA by Major General Professor Dr. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski, Head of the Military Medical Academy (MMA) and Chairman of the National Operations Headquarters.

All Hospitalized People in Bulgaria Tested Negative for COVID-19

All 17 samples for the new COVID-19 coronavirus were negative. They belong to patients in hospitals in Burgas, Pleven, Stara Zagora, Shumen, Varna, Haskovo, Sofia and Ruse, the Ministry of Health reported.

The samples were examined at the National Reference Laboratory of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.

14 people with suspected coronavirus were admitted at the Military Medical Academy for the last day. Four of them are foreign nationals - Japanese, Egyptian, Portuguese and Italian. Two or three of them have pneumonia, and the results are expected to come out in the early afternoon. This was announced by the Chairman of the Crisis Staff and the Chief of Crisis Staff Prof.

All Samples of Patients in Bulgaria who were Suspected to be Infected with COVID-19 are Negative

The National Reference Laboratory for the New Coronavirus 19 examined 9 samples of patients with who were hospitalized due to coronavirus suspicions in Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Shumen, Varna and Burgas. All of them are negative, according to the Ministry of Health.

All samples tested at the Military Medical Academy are also negative.
