Extension of use of the Albanian language in FYROM passed in principle by the House
The parliament of Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) voted in principle the bill to expand the use of the Albanian language.
In favour of the bill voted 66 MPs (coming from the ruling Social Democratic Union/SDSM of Zoran Zaev and Ali Ahmeti’s DUI) while 41 MPs voted against (coming from VMRO-DPMNE’s main opposition party, Nikola Gruevski).
EC resumes proceedings against Serbia
The Secretariat of the Energy Community has resumed the proceedings against Serbia over the agreement with Russia on natural gas deliveries.
The agreement did not comply with the competition acquis, and Serbia now has two months to correct the irregularities, Beta has reported, citing EurActive.

Dacic attends ACS Ministerial Council meeting in Cuba
HAVANA - Serbian Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic is attending the 22nd regular meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Association of Caribbean States in Havana.

Ivica Dacic this week traveled to Cuba to participate in the 22nd session of the Ministerial Council of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
After arriving in Havana, the Serbian first deputy PM and foreign minister met with ACS General Secretary June Soomer.
Lavrov to visit Belgrade Monday

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in Belgrade on Monday that his country "will not interfere in Serbia's internal issues."
OSCE Foreign Ministers Meet in Serbia
The OSCE Ministerial Council meeting on Thursday and Friday in Belgrade will be the culmination of Serbia's one-year chairmanship of the international security body.
Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who is the 2015 OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, said critical issues such as the Ukraine situation, the refugee crisis and terrorism would be discussed.

Bulgarian Government Establishes National Anti-Corruption Council
The Bulgarian government announced on Wednesday the establishment of a National council on anti-corruption policies with advisory, coordinating and control functions to the Ministerial Council.
The council will be responsible for the development and implementation of policies on preventing and countering corruption, the government's press service informs.
Social media companies need to pay taxes where they earn: Turkish minister
Turkey has faced problem taxing social media companies, said Finance Minister Mehmet ?im?ek. "We believe that social media companies must pay the taxes if they earn money here," he said at a G20 tax event in Istanbul on May 7.
