Vesic resigns, says there is sense of moral responsibility in Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic resigned from his post on Tuesday.
At an extraordinary press conference on Monday evening, Vesic announced he would officially resign following a tragedy in which an overhang collapse at the Novi Sad railway station killed 14 people and seriously injured three others on Friday.

Minister orders unscheduled inspection of bridges in Serbia
This will be carried out by a team of experts from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, and Serbian companies in charge of road and rail infrastructure.
The decision comes one day after a partial collapse of a highway bridge in Genoa, Italy, left at least 35 people dead.
New Belgrade tower "BC Usce" to get 104-meter twin
Ground will be broken this month for a 104-meter tower, located next to the BC Usce office building in New Belgrade, the daily Politika writes.
The permit for the 22-floor building, Usce Tower II, has been issued, the newspaper learned on Tuesday from the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure.

Criminal complaint filed against ex-minister Mrkonjic
Former cabinet minister Milutin Mrkonjic (SPS) is among a group of 14 persons against whom the Ministry of Construction has filed a criminal complaint.
The case has been submitted to the Prosecution for Organized Crime.

90.7 kilometers of Corridor 10 highway to be built in 2016
A total of 90.7km of the Corridor 10 highway will be built in Serbia this year, with the project aimed at reconstructing 1,100km of roads to continue as well.

The Serbian government has made a formal decision to divide Serbian Railways into four companies.
Those will be Holding, Infrastruktura, Srbija Voz and Kargo, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure told Tanjug.
Travel Corridor 10 in Serbia over the next year
BELGRADE - The Road Corridor X section through Serbia will be completed by the end of next year, State Secretary with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Miodrag Poledica said at the opening of a conference titled "Transport and Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region - TIL 2015" on Thursday.
