All municipalities in Bulgaria will be reclassified according to new criteria based on the 2021 census. This recategorization is crucial for various municipal financing systems, including building taxes, allocation of funds under new investment programs, and regulations supporting state-delegated activities.

In a final meeting of the current Council of Ministers, resigned Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov expressed gratitude to all cabinet ministers and provided an overview of the government's accomplishments.

The CEC has issued a decision officially announcing turnout and scheduling a new election for president and vice president on November 21st.

Out of the total number of voters - 6,691,150, according to data from DG "GRAO" in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, 2,687,307 voters took part in the election day. Turnout was 40.50 percent.
