Nearly 1.2 million homes in Bulgaria are uninhabited. This is approximately 1/3 of the total number of homes in Bulgaria. In the capital, the "dark windows" are close to 24%, but in rural areas the percentage is far higher - up to 43, reports sega. 

Parliamentary Committees on European Affairs and Control of EU Funds and Foreign Policy will hold a discussion on "European Integration, Regional Cooperation and Connectivity in the Western Balkans - the Contribution of the Bulgarian Presidency", BGNES reported.

The number of Bulgarian children abroad is over 200 000. This is clear form the data in Protocol No. 7 of a meeting of the Commission on Policies for Bulgarians Abroad,  BGNES reported.

The direction of the state agency to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Kardzhali has a new director starting Tuesday, BGNES reported.

Orhan Ibrahim, who was the director of the Road Infrastructure Agency in the southern Bulgarian town was fired on account of bad management of the crisis situation with the heavy snowfalls in the region.

A total of BGN 31.5 M will be invested in repairs of second-class and third-class roads in the following months, according to Bulgarian Regional Development Minister Desislava Terzieva.

She specified that a total of BGN 15.5 M would be provided from savings from winter road maintenance, while a total of BGN 16 M would be supplied by the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA).
