A total of 100,000 euros will be allocated after Montenegro pledged financial support during a UN meeting on September 13.
Montenegro Dismisses Media Reports About Hosting Afghan Refugees
Montenegro will not host any Afghan refugees fleeing the country after the Taliban took control of Kabul, Montenegro's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

This, as Novosti finds out, is only part of an order issued by Brigadier General Dragutin Dakic, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, at a meeting of his staff on February 6th.
Djukanovic sends troops to the border
The Council has decided to engage the Montenegrin Army in protecting the border from illegal migrants by the end of 2020, in support of police forces.

Balkan is in arms race; Neighbours, beware!

According to Donald Trump's famous "America First" saying, during a recent visit by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Montenegro, they struck a deal on buying 67 armored vehicles from the US, costing $ 36 million.

Hand grenades go missing from army depot in Montenegro
Podogrica daily Pobjeda reported this, Tanjug said on Tuesday.
It remains unclear at this time when the M-75 hand grenades went missing - while the incident was discovered when checks were conducted at all Montenegrin Army depots for weapons and ammunition.
Montenegro deploys army to border with Albania
Members of the Montenegrin army have joined police patrols there.
The soldiers have been sent to the Bozaj border crossing, the Montenegrin Ministry of Defense confirmed for the media on Friday, and added the border will be monitored by mixed patrols.
