A Mountain Rescue Service team helped a man lost in Vitosha. This was announced by the BRC office.

The Mountain Service of Sofia has made a rescue opertation on Monday night. Going down from Cherni Vrah, the man lost himself because of the bad weather and fog. At 18.30, he managed to alert the rescuers.

A tourist has died while climbing Mount Vihren, FOCUS reported, referring to the Mountain Rescue Service (MAS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross. The incident was about 5.30 am this morning. A guide and two tourists left the Vihren hut to the Vihren peak. During the climb, one of them slipped and fell, and as a result he died. The other two are in good condition.

The conditions for hiking in the lower parts of the mountains are good. This was announced by the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) FOCUS Agency from the Mountain Rescue Service (MSF). There are good conditions for hiking in the region of Stara Planina.

Bad conditions for hiking in the mountains are bad. This was reported by FOCUS News Agency by the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) to the BRC.

Weather will remain almost unchanged today, mostly cloudy and cool, with maximum temperatures between 13°C and 18°C. Only a few places in the southern and eastern regions will see a light rain. Mountain Rescue Service teams have saved a man in the Troyan Balkan, FOCUS News reported.

The man has been declared for a search. He has left from the hut "Kozya stena" to the chalet "Haidushka pesen". The signal for him was submitted by his parents to the SCP. The rescuers found the man in good health and took him back.
