The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) remains determined to pursue a second mandate to form a government, as confirmed following a meeting chaired by Delyan Peevski, the party's parliamentary group leader. Notably, representatives loyal to honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan opted not to attend the gathering.

"We Continue the Change" (WCC) has declared its decision not to participate in government negotiations within Bulgaria's 50th National Assembly. The stance, affirmed by the party's National Council and endorsed at a meeting of WCC deputies, reflects a firm rejection of engaging in talks for a third government term.

Delyan Peevski, chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), has called for a complete unification with Ahmed Dogan. Peevski made this statement after meeting with some of the party's regional structures in Sofia, as reported per BNT.

According to unofficial sources, reported by the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), a meeting is scheduled today between the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), Ahmed Dogan, the co-chairman Delyan Peevski, and the deputies who backed the "Zhelyazkov" draft cabinet.

"Bulgaria will not provide cash to Ukraine", emphasized Boyko Borissov, the leader of GERB, during a parliamentary session. He pointed out that instead of giving money, Bulgaria receives funds for supplying old Soviet equipment, with 60 million euros already received and an additional 300 million euros agreed upon.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) has removed another member from its parliamentary group amid ongoing internal divisions centered around the "Peevski-Dogan" axis.

Delyan Peevski, leader of Bulgaria's Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), stated on the sidelines of parliament that he intends to honor the will of the people amid political tensions within his party. He emphasized his responsibility solely to the DPS electorate and cited adherence to the party's statutes, which he manages as chairman.

GERB and DPS are seven votes short of forming a regular government. Tomorrow, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will decide whether to support the first mandate at a party executive bureau meeting, OFFNews reported.

President Rumen Radev, after awaiting the official decision designating him as leader of Bulgaria's delegation to the upcoming NATO summit in July, has declined the role. The decision comes in light of disagreements with certain state positions adopted by the Council of Ministers, which formulates the country's foreign policy according to the constitution.

During consultations with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Kostadin Kostadinov, leader of the Bulgarian right-wing party "Revival" (Vazrazhdane), expressed optimism about the possibility of forming a government in the current parliament. He emphasized a potential coalition formula involving parties other than GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), totaling 125 mandates.
