National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology

There will be variable, often substantial clouds over the country today, with rains in some areas, mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria. This is the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), quoted by FOCUS News Agency.

Today there will be moderate to strong wind from West-Northwest, substantial clouds in many regions of the country and rains in some areas, mainly in Southern Bulgaria.

The weather will be cold with maximum temperatures of 19-24 degrees in most places, in Sofia around 18 degrees.

Clouds will develop from West to East today, with short rains and thunders in some places, mainly in the northwestern half of the country. There are conditions for hails, too,  the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) told FOCUS News Agency.

There will be light to moderate wind from South-Southeast, in the afternoon from Northwest with cold air.

There will be a light northwest wind over the Danube plain, southeast wind in the eastern and southern regions. Maximum temperatures between 29°C and 34°C, in Sofia around 30°C.
