Colombia government, ELN rebels agree to ceasefire
Colombia's government and ELN rebels have agreed to a ceasefire after months of talks, the rebels announced on Sept. 4. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos also confirmed the announcement and said that the government has agreed to a bilateral ceasefire with the ELN that will last 102 days.

Colombia to launch peace talks with ELN rebels
The Colombian government and the country's second-largest rebel group, the leftist National Liberation Army (ELN), announced Oct. 10 they would launch negotiations on Oct. 27 in Ecuador's capital, with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos predicting "total peace."

Colombia rebels free ex-governor held since 2013: officials
Colombia's second-largest guerrilla group, the National Liberation Army (ELN), freed an ex-governor on April 3 held captive since 2013, in a new boost to peace efforts.
"Pleased by the release of (Choco department) ex governor Patrocinio Sanchez Montes de Oca. Much support to him and family. #welcometofreedom," the Choco governor's office said on Twitter.

Kosovo Commission to Shed Light on Kumanovo
Kosovo's parliament is to ccompile a report on all previous knowledge possessed by relevant security institutions relating to the "suspicious movements" of Kosovo citizens in Macedonia.
Media reports have claimed that some of the young men arrested or killed in Kumanovo on May 9th were already being investigated by the Kosovo police.

Kosovo, Macedonia Exchange Information on Kumanovo
Macedonia and Kosovo have established exchanges of information on verifying the identities of the victims and those who were arrested in Kumanovo last weekend during the Macedonian police action.
The Macedonian Interior Ministry has established that a number of those involved in the fighting were citizens of Kosovo.
