Draft bill proposes replacing stamp duty with digital fees on over 600 transactions

A draft bill ending stamp duty in more than 600 transactions is now at the public consultation stage.

Stamp duty is a very old fee system imposed in favor of entities such as state agencies and pension funds. One doesn't have to deal directly with the beneficiaries to have a stamp duty imposed.

Prime Minister Florin Citu announced on Wednesday that a decision was made to start administering the third dose, starting with September 28, for all persons who have more than 6 months after the second dose, with any of the Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna and Astra Zeneca vaccines.

Serbia Starts Vaccination with the Russian Vaccine

Vaccination against the coronavirus with Russia's Sputnik V will begin in Serbia on January 5, state oficial Mirsad Djerlek told reporters on Monday.

"During this week, 2,400 doses of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine will be used. Most likely, the first batch of this vaccine will be used tomorrow," Djerlek was quoted by Tanjug news agency as saying.
