Covid vaccination campaign/ 1,586 people receive the jab in the past 24 hours
The National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee informs today that according to data provided by the National Public Health Institute through the National Electronic Vaccinations Registry app, 1,586 people have received the Pfizer BioNTech jab for coronavirus in the past 24 hours. According to a release, 13,242 people have been vaccinated so far for COVID-19.

Suceava County, Bucharest are Romania's highest coronavirus caseload areas
The north-eastern Suceava County and Bucharest further report Romania's first and second-highest numbers of coronavirus infection cases: 3,478 and 1,659, respectively, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informs. Romania has a total of 17,191 people confirmed as infected with the novel coronavirus.
GCS: 303 new cases of novel coronavirus infection; total number of cases reaches 11,339
A number of 303 new cases of persons infected with the novel coronavirus have been recorded in Romania since the last report, with the total number of cases thus reaching 11,339, the Strategic Communication Group informed on Monday. Among the persons infected, 3,141 were declared cured and discharged from hospital. There are 227 patients admitted to ICUs.

The number of cases of coronavirus infection increased in the April 6-12 week by 18.9 pct over the previous week, according to a weekly monitoring report published on the website of the National Public Health Institute. 51 pct of the cases recorded were in Suceava, Bucharest, Hunedoara, Timis and Neamt.
