airBaltic to launch direct flights to Belgrade on May 16
BELGRADE/RIGA - Latvian airline airBaltic has announced it would on May 16 introduce direct flights between Riga and Belgrade, to be operated twice a week, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (TOS) said in a statement.
Serbian tourism industry to be showcased at Istanbul fair
BELGRADE - Serbia's entire tourism supply will be showcased at EMITT, the East Mediterranean International Travel and Tourism exhibition, in Istanbul on January 25-28, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (TOS) has announced.
This year's EMITT will bring together 5,000 organisations and institutions from 80 countries around the world.

BELGRADE - There were 495,838 tourists in Serbia from January to the end of March this year - 17 percent more than in the same period last year, with the number of domestic and foreign tourists up by 16 and 19 percent, respectively, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.

Turkish TV channel to promote Serbian tourism supply
BELGRADE - The television crew behind a programme broadcast by Kanal 7, one of Turkey's most popular television stations, is in Serbia to present the country's tourism supply to its viewers.
The Turkish TV crew visited Serbia following a successful presentation of Serbia's tourism supply at an Istanbul fair, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia said in a statement.
Number of tourists by 12 percent higher than in 2014
BELGRADE - In the first two months of the year, 12 percent more tourists visited Serbia than in the same period in the year before, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (TOS) released.
A total of 269,057 tourists visited Serbia in January and February, of whom 161,731 (or 60 percent) were local tourists and 107,326 (or 40 percent) were foreign tourists.
