Code yellow advisories of abundant snowfall and blizzards will become valid starting this evening for 20 counties of Romania, with precipitation and winds picking up speed to be expected in the remaining counties, according to the National Weather Administration (ANM).

Heat wave forecast to sweep western, north-western parts of Romania

The National Weather Administration (ANM) on Sunday issued code yellow heat wave advisory for the western and north-western parts of Romania valid on Monday.

The meteorologists are expecting temperatures in the range of 35-37 degrees Celsius, with the discomfort index expected to exceed the critical value of 80.

Code Yellow for precarious winter conditions starting from Monday evening to Wednesday morning in 31 counties

The National Weather Administration (ANM) has issued, on Monday, a Code Yellow warning for snowfall, ice and blizzard, in effect from Monday evening 23:00 hours, in 31 counties and the City of Bucharest.
