Top Turkish military chief visits top court head
Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Ãzel visited President HaÅim Kılıç of the Constitutional Court on June 24.
Sources said the meeting was scheduled before the delivery of the top Courtâs ruling concerning the Balyoz coup case convicts.
Still, Ãzel expressed his âextreme pleasureâ over the ruling during his meeting with Kılıç, the same sources said.

Some 25 Balyoz convicts acquitted in first retrial hearing
Twenty-five suspects in the Balyoz (Sledgehammer) coup plot case were acquitted by Istanbulâs 4th Heavy Penal Court on June 24, less than a week after the Constitutional Court ordered a retrial of all 230 convicts.
The court also ruled that the files of the other 63 former convicts who stood in the retrial would be further assessed in future sessions.
