Three major Bosnian Serb opposition parties, along with six other political groups, joined forces on Monday in an attempt to defeat the coalition centred around Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik's Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, which has been in power in the entity for 12 years.

A Bosnian Serb political party, the National Democratic Movement, NDP, said on Monday that it will file a criminal lawsuit against the Bosniak member of the country's presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, for circumventing state institutions to file a request for the revision of Bosnia's genocide lawsuit against Serbia at eth International Court of Justice.

Opposition parties in Republika Srpska have announced legal action against the leadership of Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity for taking out a controversial loan.

They will legally challenge legality and constitutionality of this financial transaction, opposition leaders told a session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.

Four months after Bosnia's general elections, the leaders of the six parties that make up the ruling coalition at the state level have agreed on the distribution of ministerial and deputy ministerial seats in the new government.

The assembly of Bosnia's mainly Serbian entity began discussing disputed changes to the law on public peace and order on Tuesday despite a walkout by opposition parties, which accused the government of trying to create a "totalitarian regime".

German far-rightists have canceled a demonstration in the southwestern German province of Freiburg after boarding the wrong train, going 200 kilometers away from their intended destination.

The Alliance for Changes, the opposition bloc in Republika Srpska, said a non-Serbian party coalition, Homeland, had agreed to support them in forming a majority government in the mainly Serbian entity.

The Union for Changes was formally established at a ceremony held on April 30 in Banja Luka, the main city in Republika Srpska.
