BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic received a North Macedonian government delegation on Wednesday.

The parties concluded they would focus on implementing concrete projects and initiatives with the aim of further integration and advancement of bilateral relations, which they said would help regional stability and prosperity.

“They need to get used to politicians who are here to protect the interests of citizens, to work for the good of the country, for the future, and we are ready to build good neighborly relations with everyone,” emphasized the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, K. Mickoski.

Bulgaria has provided assurances to the US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, that it will not introduce fresh conditions for the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia into the European Union (EU).

Sofia - Skopje relations have entered a new crisis following the publication last week of a report by the International Institute for the Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES), a Slovenian think tank.
