Costa-Gavras' controversial film "Adults in the Room" opens at the Odeon Opera cinema in Athens on Wednesday.

The Horrorant Festival is back for a sixth year, running simultaneously at Athens' Odeon Opera and Thessaloniki Cineplexx cinemas, with a selection of 25 feature films and even more shorts from Greece and abroad, that promise to thrill horror fans and chill the uninitiated.

The Athens International Film Festival is taking place from Wednesday, September 21, to Sunday, October 2, at the Danaos 1&2, Odeon Opera 1&2, Ideal and Greek Film Center cinemas. The festival features Greek premieres of new productions from around the world as well as special tributes.
