Foreclosures: Prominent families and companies included in the new auction list
A wave of foreclosures is set to begin in early September, immediately after the August break. Notably, more than 11,000 electronic auctions of various categories are scheduled from this restart through the early months of 2025. The majority will involve real estate, ranging from houses, plots, and offices to industrial spaces, factories, hotels, and even helicopter hangars.
Equestrian center goes under the hammer for 30 mln euros
The Greek Horse Racing Organization (ODIE) is putting up for an auction the one-square-kilometer plot at Markopoulo in Attica that hosts the Olympic Equestrian Center and the national racecourse, at a starting price of 30.14 million euros.
Equestrian festival starts
The Athens Equestrian Festival 2023 will be held for the third consecutive year at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo, East Attica, from Thursday to Sunday.

Aplekton wins tender for Olympic Equestrian Center
State asset utilization fund (TAIPED) on Thursday announced Aplekton Holdings Co Limited as the highest bidder in a tender for the long-term lease of part of the former Olympic Equestrian Center at Markopoulo, Attica, where the equestrian events were held during the 2004 Olympics.

TAIPED heralds new privatization projects
