Turkey's Foreign Ministry has condemned Armenia for committing "heavy weapon attacks" against Azerbaijan early on Feb. 25 in an attack that killed five Azerbaijani soldiers, according to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The ministry issued a late on Feb. 26, offering condolences to the fallen Azerbaijani soldiers' families and the people of Azerbaijan.      

It has been more than three years since Ukrainians gathered at Maidan Square in Kyiv on the night of Nov. 21, 2013, to demand closer integration with Europe and the resignation of President Viktor Yanukovych.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, an international election and war monitor, said Dec. 28 it had become the latest global institution to suffer a "major" cyber-attack.

The Vienna-based OSCE has its origins in the Cold War but after 1991 it expanded and now has 57 member states including the United States, Russia and Ukraine.

Russia is due to conduct an unarmed observation flight over Turkish territory following the normalization of relations between the two countries, a Turkish diplomatic source said Oct. 24.      

Sixteen Turkish ambassadors have been reshuffled, according to a decree published in the Official Gazette on Sept. 20, the state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

The normalization of the relations between Turkey and Russia would help solve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on July 15.

A delegation from Russia will visit Turkey between March 28 and March 30 as part of an Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) evaluation trip.
