Brnabic receives Braathu

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with outgoing OSCE Mission head Jan Braathu on Friday and thanked him for the exceptional cooperation during his term, congratulating him on being elected new OSCE representative on freedom of the media.

BELGRADE - Thanking outgoing OSCE Ambassador Jan Braathu for heading the OSCE Mission to Serbia in a committed and professional manner, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday cooperation between Serbia and the OSCE was exceptional and that Serbia remained committed to promoting peace, stability and security across the region.

Vucevic meets with Hill, Braathu

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic met on Wednesday with US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill as well as with outgoing OSCE Mission Head Jan Braathu, whom he congratulated on being named the new OSCE representative on freedom of the media.

Vucevic thanked Braathu for the Mission's support for Serbian rule of law reforms and protection of human and minority rights.

Djuric: Serbia remains committed to preservation of peace, stability in region

Brnabic meets with Borg

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with OSCE Chairman and Maltese FM Ian Borg in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Brnabic informed Borg she had invited all parliamentary parties to another round of discussions on implementation of recommendations by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), scheduled for Thursday.

Braathu said a recent meeting of the Collegium of the Serbian parliament was a very important first step and that dialogue with the opposition should be continued towards an agreement on constructive solutions.

Brnabic said she hoped the successful cooperation would be continued in the future as well, with the next Serbian government and with her personally.
